I posted this question about a week ago..

Is it true that credit bureaus are working with banks in a scam to keep peoples credit low to allow the banks to charge higher interest rates to people with low credit scores..and funneling money comps back to the credit reporting agencys.. anyone in the banking industry that might have knowladge or information on this.. Its an artical I came across ..if its true this would be bigger than the Enron scandal..

Fighting an uphill battle against powerful lobbyists, state legislators are trying again this year to ban insurance companies from using credit scores to set auto and homeowner insurance premiums in Delaware.

“Credit scoring is wrong. It’s unnecessary and unfair,” Delaware Insurance Commissioner Matthew Denn said at a press conference Friday to drum up support for the legislation. He urged Delawareans to call their legislators in support of the bill, which the insurance industry will likely oppose. “The insurance lobbyists … will do what they need to do and spend what they need to spend” to keep the bill from passing, he said.

Sponsored by state Sens. Margaret Rose Henry, D-Wilmington East, Harris B. McDowell III, D-Wilmington North, and Rep. Helene M. Keeley, D-Wilmington South, Senate Bill 31 would ban all use of credit scores in setting auto and homeowner insurance rates.

Credit scoring — the use of credit history to evaluate policyholders and review new applicants — “is a bad thing, period,” said Henry. The practice hurts minorities and blue-collar workers, and can be a problem for many people who have errors on their credit reports.

A similar bill last year passed the Senate but was never brought up for a vote in the House of Representatives. The latest proposal is more restrictive than last year’s bill, which allowed the use of credit scores in setting new policies but banned their use in renewals, Henry said.

“We were halfway there last year. Hopefully it will pass both houses this session,” said Henry.

Consumer advocates expressed support for the legislation and criticized insurance companies’ widespread use of credit scores.

“Your auto insurance premium should be based on your history as a driver,” said John Flaherty, lobbyist for Common Cause of Delaware. He said 90 percent of insurers use credit scores.

“It is clear to us that there is no relationship between an individual’s credit rating and driving ability,” said Mark Brunswick of the A. Philip Randolph Institute of Delaware, a black labor group. The use of credit scoring often hurts the poor, who end up subsidizing the lower premiums of affluent drivers, Brunswick said.

The insurance industry says credit scoring models actually help keep premiums down overall.

“The more variables you have to underwrite in price, the more accurate you can be in pricing,” said Jeff Junkas, spokesman for the American Insurance Association, which represents about 400 insurance companies nationwide.

The score can’t predict car accidents, he said, but “credit-based insurance scores do predict the likelihood that a claim will be filed and how high those claims will be,” he said. “We don’t know why it works, but it does work.”

Only four states totally ban the use of credit scores in setting insurance premiums, said Junkas. California bans their use in setting auto premiums, Maryland bans their use for homeowners insurance, and Massachusetts and Hawaii ban credit scoring for both

The group committed bank robberies, two murders and other acts of violence. I have my checking and mortgage through PNC bank. My savings is at INGDirect because the rates are much better. PNC gave me a 1/4 point break on my mortgage to open a checking account and set up automatic deductions.

The reaction by the Left and Democrats after the past election in Mass. and the 2008 election got me thinking about past events.
Eisenhower beat Stevenson x2 and the Democrats attack Eisenhower’s WWII driver.
The Kennedys did to women what the Kennedys do to women and the Democrats attack the women and cover up the murder of one woman.
Nixon beat Humphrey and the Democrats attack Pat.
Ford pardon Nixon and the Democrats attack Betty.
Reagan beat Carter & Mondale and put Gorbachev & Gaddafi in their place and the Democrats attack Nancy, Elizabeth Dole, Margaret Thatcher & Jeane Kirkpatrick (a long time Democrat)
Bush 41 beat Dukakis and the Democrat attack and tries to trap Barbara in an interview.
Bill Clinton does to women (as far as we know he has not kill one) what the Kennedys did and the Democrats attack the women
Bob Dole challenge Bill Clinton and the Democrats attack Elizabeth (they went after her for years)

Obama/Biden is the least qualify president/vice president in the history of the U.S. McCain pick Palin (the only one of four who was qualified to be president) and the Democrats attack her. In fact the Democrats so fear Palin that a week after the election they talked more about her than they did Obama and to today they continue to attack her. That alone should tell you how qualify the Democrats know she is and how much they fear her. Can we say Reagan/Cater = Palin/Obama (if that close)
The Left Wing programs continue to cost us more, give us less, cost us jobs, take more and more of our freedoms and give the government more and more control of our lives while placing us at a greater risk from outside forces and women like Laura Ingraham, Angie Harmon, Ashley Herzog, Shelly Roche, Dana Loesch, Star Parker, Mary Katharine Ham, Katherine Harris, Michelle Malkin, Janice Roger Brown, Amanda Carpenter and Megan Kelly to name just a few women who disagree with and challenge the Left. And, of course, the Democrats attack them.

The sad part is how other women have attacked these and many other women. They don’t just attack on their disagreements but they say things like “she is not women enough.” These women know they are only allowed the power they enjoy as long as they can bring in the women vote. To keep the power the Democrat party allows them they do what they are told to whoever they are told to do it to. If you are intelligence, independent, free thinking women the Left will attack you. The Left is threatened by these women. They don’t fit in to the view of what the Left have of women. In the Left’s view of women you are require to think alike, support the same causes, vote the same way. If you don’t you are not a “real” women and the Left will attack you. And who tell you what to say, think and how to vote? The Democrat party. In the Left view the only meaningful acts a women can accomplish is to have an abortion and give into any sexual advancement made toward them and be thankful that you are one of the chosen ones.

Let me get this straight…He offered you Jermaine Dye (its with a J by the way) for Roy Halladay?

Color me a bit confused but I would accept that in a heartbeat.

Sure Dye is playing well since the break and Halladay is having a down year, but he is not even close to Halladay’s value. Plus you get stats for what they do the rest of the season, not what they have done recently. I would love to see Dye keep up such good numbers again…

Bottom line is that anything you do this late in the season is going to have a very minimal impact on your place in the standings as there are only 40 games to go in the season.

Lamman Rucker is an actor. He has done a lot of acting in daytime TV on soap operas including As The World Turns and All My Children. He also did some other shows as well.
