No, but it’s very popular now. Here’s some examples of information on that whole topic. Save the sites on your favorites as they have other material and you may have to look around a bit. The blogs have other people talking about the same thing. I wouldn’t get bogged down in one interpretation, there’s more to know. You have to read one of the free e books, Emotional Intelligence, even if it bogs down some, on trans4mind or other articles or books on the subject. That’s a must.

I do think that a positive thing about it is that in The Secret – as I understand it – can give you a sense of being responsible for
your own destiny.

Although I do wonder if there isn’t a risk that some people might explane it in a way that they can become very focussed on
material things only.

Law is good, but both good + evil ends badly.
(so discern = avoid: both good + evil law: Heb 5)
Law is holy, but both holy + unholy ends bad.
(so don’t be law, which is both holy + unholy)
Law is spirit-u-all, but spiritual abuse is awful.
(so be grace us, which is never awful lawful)

Our Father, deliver us from evil: Mt 6:13
We are delivered from the law: Rom 7:6
Bcz the law is both good + evil: Heb 5:14
So use your senses to discern both good + evil.
If it sounds like horeb-bull, it’s probably law.
If it looks kinda fishy, then it’s probably law.
If it smells kinda pewy, then it’s probably law.
If it tastes both sweet + bitter, then it’s probably law.
If it feels like hell when it’s swallowed, for sure it’s law.
So then “touch not, taste not, handle not”, such “dung”.

High-minded is as Law-minded. Mind not high things.
Be not highminded: Romans 11:20 & 1Timothy 6:17.
High-minded is among Un-holy things in 2Timothy3.
So mind not high things: Romans 12:16,
such as God(Law) on high, and high(law) priests.
Rather be Christ-like: seated higher than the heavens.

Christ is the end of the law: Romans 10;4,
and notably not the mend of law: Luke 5:36,37.
A-men-ding law = Judas “burst”: Lk 5:37…Acts 1:18

Christ abolished the law, to become our peace(rest),
effectively ending all law vs law & law vs grace divisions.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

My vote is for “The Quantum Physicists” by William H. Cropper. First published many yrs. ago but I believe is still in print.
Although it does go into some of the mathmatical theory, the best part of this book is the author’s description of the development of the theory and the many debates between Bohr and Born and Pauli and Schrodinger and Heisenburg and Einstein and others about what it all meant. The most entertaining book on quantum I’ve ever read.

If there is really something to be gained by using a Christian perspective, I guess it would be ok. What I mean is, if the methods are true to mental health and there is no guilt producing talk.

Personally I have never heard of Christian therapists, except for something like “you can get over your homosexuality”.

The book The Secret says we could have everything EVERYTHING using the law of attraction.
What if a person wants something impossible – like mangoes growing on an apple tree.
I know this sounds very idiotic but I have been using the LOA very efficiently until recent times when a few things that I wanted did not happen that way.
Yes,I used the law in 100% correct manner.I tried making up excuses to myself like- maybe I did not ‘feel’ it while asking for it etc etc. but I know I meant every word of it when I’d asked.So the harsh truth is that the LOA does not work everytime.The book,The Secret compares the LOA to the Law of Gravity,claiming that the LOA is as universal as the Law of Gravity.
So I’m disappointed.This whole story might make me sound pathetic giving the impression that I need a reality check and all,but I know I’m not superstitious.
Would like to know your opinion on the matter and why the law failed this time.

I don’t see how this could possibly be urgent, but my best guess would be that the Law of Attraction only applies to things you actually have some control over. So you focus your attention on the solutions, not the problems, and things happen the way you want them too. That makes sense. But (using your own example) a mango will not grow on an apple tree, no matter how much you will it to, because it is not physically possible. You have absolutely no control over that.

He calls me on my phone and talk smack, hoping I’d give a bullshit answer to say “aha” or whenever we are alone he talks things just to get me to mess up. So far I am doing a good job not falling into his trap. Can i secretly record our conversation to cover my ass, just in case?

Yes, you can record the conversation between you and your boss without him knowing. As long as one of the parties in the communication is doing the recording, it is legal. You just can’t record a conversation between two other people without their permission.

Edit: Actually, Mr. Placid is WRONG! He doesn’t understand how to interpret the statute. To “intercept” is to record a conversation that you are not already a party to. You are not intercepting a call if you are already a party to it and if you are already a party to the call, you can record it without the other party’s consent. So if you don’t believe me, and want to know for sure, I would suggest you go ask a lawyer in your jurisdiction. I read the statute and it just says what I said. Some people don’t understand statutes, as they are usually not written for a layman. Go ahead and read it and see what you think and if you don’t understand it ask a lawyer.

The Laws Of Attraction And Being Serious About Your Life

If you are serious about changing your life then desist with skimming the surface. Do not care who you are or who you think you are as it is high time we stopped wearing masks to impress others as all that does is prevent us from being who we deserve to be and are intended to be. You are not a flat stone gliding on surface water aiming to make as many leaps as possible to cover maximum ground; you are a life force. Indeed you are more than that especially if you desire to learn to be more than the 10% you currently are. The Choice Is Yours!

Construction and destruction are one step apart and based on the statistics whereby only one out of one hundred is actually living then by default; you need work; we all do. It takes time and effort matched with desire and belief that your life is worth it. Again The Choice Is Yours! Applause if you are more than 10% but that would make you the exception rather than the rule; but good job anyway!

John Powell SJ in his books talks about being fully human and being fully alive mentioning five steps to commence achieving such a life; but it has to commence with reflection.

Three of these steps are a) to accept oneself; b) be oneself and c) to belong. Because of the myriad stimuli invading our consciousness our minds actually wander every ten seconds or so therefore it takes constant and guided focus to remain attentive so one may actually reflect and thus advance.

First off if you need to be somewhere else then please depart because this is probably not for you as it applies to only those who are committed to living a full life and desist with wearing a mask. You see most of us have sold out and wear masks so we shall comply with the demands of others especially corporations wherein we may be depending on our salaries for living.

Having a family we may believe that it is necessary to forsake ones life while giving complete devotion to the future of those in our care; not quite the truth really. Actually that is a cop out as you have the opportunity to be true to thine own self but lack vision thus lack confidence thus restrict growth and actually the growth of those around too. ‘It would seem that the amount of destructiveness to be found in individuals is proportionate to the amount to which expansiveness of life is curtailed.’ Erich Fromm.

Nothing but nothing can effect change as much as the vision we have and make full us of but there is one other thing about vision; perspective. You see you and I and everyone look at things differently and neither is right or wrong unless the view is restrictive.

Returning to the first paragraph where we mentioned being more than 10% please realise that if you are only using 10% of your potential capacities then by default you are only experiencing 10% of results you would like to experience but improvements require adjusting of vision. Are you ready for that?

Then you are ready to apply the Socrates maxim that an unexamined life is not worth living by reflecting on your life then advancing forward. You see it is impossible to benefit from the laws of attraction unless you first commence with reflection and focused vision by being serious about your life and thus living it fully.
