What is the Need for Spiritual Healing?

The term spiritual healing, often called as ‘energy healing’, is an art of non-invasive complimentary therapy. The healer uses the indiscernible healing energy that is directed from the healer to the recipient, either by directly touching or without touching the body of the person. This art of healing creates the ability of healing many physical as well as mental disorders and that too without any medical consideration.

Being a complimentary practice to any medical treatment, spiritual healing can help with almost all the human problems. Physical problems, such as aches and pains, arthritis, broken bones, and mental problems like depression and stress can be successfully overcome with the spiritual healing programs.

Many people think that only a limited segment of people require spiritual healing.

However, we all require spiritual healing at some point or another in our lives. Human illness is not limited to physical ailments; it involves the mind, emotions and the soul as well. Spiritual healing is transformation of the body and mind through the intellectual or irrelevant part of a human being

We all believe in God or other higher powers and this healing allows this relationship with that source. It helps us gain peace, joy, inspiration, creativity and guidance from the spirits. It helps us become whole.

A spiritual healer helps you gain spiritual healing. While traditional doctors can actually heal physical ailments with the available medicine and technology, a healer is a person who merely serves as a channel between the divine spirit and you.

Spiritual healing is all about accepting your flaws and mistakes and admitting the fact that you need the help of the strong divine power of “GOD” to heal your injuries.

It is acknowledging to yourself that without divine assistance all your efforts would be in vain and you won’t be able to accomplish anything in life.

Spiritual healing is attainable. Irrespective of your age, gender, or sexual orientation, healing could be done in all aspects of your life. It is your strong will power to be healed completely that governs your spiritual thought.

Each one of us could benefit from spiritual healing. It surpasses every human law. It begins with the identification of one’s self, positive or negative. It persists with the will and determination to heal and ends with you enjoying a life full of contentment.

The foundation of the responsibilities of an individual is spiritual virtues towards self as well as others. One must therefore live consciously and subconsciously at all time so as to achieve spiritual healing for ultimate happiness.

Question by : When it comes to discovering spiritual truths, why are so many people intellectually and morally lazy?
It seems to me that there are a lot of self-described pontiffs, armchair philosophers, and intellectual quarterbacks when it comes to defining the nature of God, His plan for us and it’s associated truth.

I’m interested in peoples opinion on the following topics:

Do all paths lead to the same place? (a common phrase used by many)
Are there absolutes? If so, what are they and where do they come from?
What is required to discern spiritual things?
Why does God “hide” himself from us? What benefit does that provide us?

I’m interested in knowing if people find cooking to be a spiritual activity? At times I feel that it is, but that could just be me, being a little odd. But if you do find cooking, baking, or whatever to be spiritual I’d be very interested in hearing about it. Thanks!

No, not really. I enjoy baking the most but never found it felt like a spiritual experience to me. (Especially when I look at all the dirty dishes that have to be cleaned! lol)

Inside the centralized study of spiritual counseling students are taught to work with an individual not only on their emotional well being but their mental and spiritual health as well. Students can learn to help people create harmony in these three main areas by earning an education. Spiritual counseling schools offer several higher education studies to meet students desired education level.

What is a Spiritual Solution?

During the Victorian bushfires everyone was shocked with the devastation. People from all over the country and even overseas were contributing to the Red Cross bushfire appeal.  It raised well over $ 40 million.  This was in a time when there was a recession around the world and the Australian government was looking at what stimulus package it could use for the economy.

This shows what can happen when tragedy hits communities.  They all come together to create a solution so people can recover and rebuild their lives and their towns.  This is what happened when people start working together.

However, even in a spiritual solution you are still only human. So there is always a human component.  Depending on the requirement, your involvement may be minor, or as in the example above, you may be the one who has to ask people for the money. 

The spiritual solution can be unlimited so it keeps building from an initial meeting so you can move from getting $ 1 to the $ 100 Million.  This means that with a spiritual solution you may not always know what has been done and when it is finished. It is always full of surprises.

The Spiritual Meaning of Colors

Green has been my color of choice for years, now. Lately, however, purple has been sharing the spotlight more often than not. I think they are both colors of balance and spirituality (however you define it), and I think that both are colors of “other,” of people who follow paths of their own making.

My high school friend started me thinking about green. She has luxurious, curly, red hair and always wore little green t-shirts. Maybe this doesn’t seem like too much of a fashion statement until you start looking around and seeing the colors people wear. I usually see a predominance of grey, dark blue, red, black, and white, khaki, and maybe some dark greens.

Not coincidentally, these are also the colors of most cars that I see. I started using kelly-green t-shirts as my badge of being different. I read once in an interior design book that green was the most harmonizing color.

The balance between cool and warm, the color of the natural world. That book also claimed that it was possible to have more shades of green than of any other color. Well, now, that IS interesting! My admiration grew.

My grandmother always liked purple. It never occurred to me to notice that she wore purple sweatpants and a purple sweatshirt all the time. That’s just what grandmas wear, isn’t it? On reflection, I think this was more unusual and quirky than I suspected. Also, two good friends of mine are really in love with purple and I think they’ve gotten me thinking more about it. Both of them are people who contemplate the spiritual daily and I think they feel that purple carries a mystical significance/energy.

How to Determine Your Spiritual Gifts

Every believer has at least one spiritual gift according to I Corinthians 12:7, “Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.” God has given every one of us at least one spiritual gift to edify the Body of Christ. Although we all have a spiritual gift, we often do not know exactly what that gift is or how it should be used. Four Biblical passages provide the basis for teachings concerning spiritual gifts, specifically Romans 12:1-12; I Corinthians 12:1-31, I Peter 4:7-14and Ephesians 4:1-15.

Spiritual gifts are meant to serve the Body of Christ in the pursuit to fulfill the great commission. The three categories of spiritual gifts include the motivational gifts, service gifts and the manifestation gifts. The motivational gifts are often referred to as the speaking gifts such as evangelism and exhortation. Gifts of service usually involve ministries that supply a need, like the food or usher board ministries.

The manifestation gifts include gifts of healing, speaking in tongues or any gift that produces a result that can be seen or touched.

Learning what gifts God has given you through the Holy Spirit is a life changing experience. Once you know what gifts God has placed in you, it is easier to move into the purpose for which God has created you. If you are not confident in knowing what gifts you possess, there are steps to bring you closer to knowing your purpose.

Step One: Listen to Your Heart

What are you happiest doing? What are you good at by nature? Knowing what brings your heart joy is the first step to discovering your spiritual gift. Often we operate unknowingly in our gifts, but on a much smaller scale than God would desire.

Your natural reaction to a situation will offer insight to what gifts you possess. A person with the gift of exhortation will immediately begin to encourage someone facing an obstacle, while a person with the gift of intercession will immediately turn to prayer. A person with the gift of service will try to find a task that would lift some of the burden. Make a true observation of your heart; it will not lead you in the wrong direction as long as you are seeking God.

Step Two: Spiritual Gift Assessment

After you observe your heart, the follow up step is an assessment. A self-analysis of your strengths and interests will assist you with understanding specific areas of ministry for your talents. Evaluations vary in number and complexity of the questions and in their scoring methods, but often the results are relatively accurate. Assessments only provide a basis, they are not meant to replace seeking God to reveal your spiritual gifts. Primarily assessments spotlight gifts, such as faith, wisdom, discernment, or other qualities designed to glorify God. Free assessments are available with immediate results on the web.

Step Three: Pray

If you believe you have discovered your spiritual gift, ask God to confirm your discovery. The Bible tells us to do all things with prayer and supplication! Sometimes we learn how to do things and we learn certain responses, but it is not our true gift. God is the one who placed the gift inside you and he will let you know if you are on the right track. Even after you discover your gift, you must continue to pray. Prayer will help you remain faithful and humble in the use of your gift. Prayer will allow you to walk honestly and whole-heartedly in your gifts.

Step Four: Exercise your Gift

After you have discovered your spiritual gifts, learn to exercise them. Exercising what you believe to be your gift is the final determining factor of whether you posses a certain gift. For example, if you discover that intercession is your spiritual gift, but you find that you can never find anything to pray about, this may not actually be your gift. Likewise, if you believe you have the gift of exhortation, but feel like encouraging someone might be intruding, this may not be your gift. If you believe you have a gift, exercise it. If there is not a sense of fulfillment or joy just from exercising the gift (and not from affirmations by people), you may need to continue to seek God to reveal your gifts to you.

After you determine your spiritual gifts, continue to pray. The most important thing to remember is that gifts are given to edify the body of Christ and should never be used to promote negativity or competition. Ultimately, the gift still belongs to God and any power associated with the gift comes from God. Equally, any results from the use of your gift are up to God and are at his discretion. You do not bear the weight of “making” your gift work. You simply pray for opportunities to use your gift and an understanding of your gift.

Question by Komodo: Can two people with different spiritual beliefs work?
If one person is secular, and believes there is no god, and another person is very religious, can they have a close relationship (or for that matter, would they attract in the first place)?

Two people from opposing (opposite) spiritual backgrounds might attract initially, but could they create a lasting relationship?

I mean, you don’t see too many Satanists and Christians hooking up. LOL

And Atheists and Christians normally don’t attract.

Reiki Master & Spiritual Holistic Health Programs

Reiki is a big thing in our new modern society, but this has been around since 1920. Back then it was not common to perform distant attunements or healings, so you had to rely on who you knew and what was close to where you lived. Unfortunately this made Reiki not a common thing, but more of a specialty in healing. Reiki should be available to anyone and everyone who wants to use this, and not be determined by your income or location.

A lot of alternative, metaphysical, spiritual, or holistic programs include Reiki as part of their instruction. This is a big thing in this line of work because dealing with alternative, metaphysical, spiritual, and holistic healings the majority of then will come back to learning how to use energy.

Take for example, an animal communication program. If you want to learn how to communicate with animals, it is beneficial to know how to work with energy as well.

Reason for this is because everything is tied back to its beginning and as you may already know everything in this world is made of energy. So if you want to learn how to relate and understand animals, you must know how you are going to connect with them. Working with meditation, relaxation and communication deals with energy as well. Being a Reiki Master is only a benefit to those who are studying in an alternative, metaphysical, spiritual or holistic program.

Another example would be taking a crystal-healing program. To charge a crystal, you can use your Reiki energy, as well as cleansing, programming and enhancing the crystals own vibrational energies. So why not be attuned to a Reiki Master as well, it only helps develop and enhance your own spiritual pathway in life.

Now just because you are attuned to a Reiki Master does not mean you have to go and try to heal everything you come in contact with.

Some of us are here to help and serve with this type of work and some of us are here to enhance our own spiritual pathway and connect with the vibrational level of others. We are not all on the same pathway in life, so remember when making your decisions, it is about you, your learning and spiritual growth!

Stay focused, grounded, protected and learn as much as you possibly can to heal yourself and develop your own spiritual pathway in life, being interconnected with the Universe and others!

The Spiritual Side In You Needs A Spiritual Journey

When you have the need to taste the purity of your spiritual side, you can just embark on a holy journey that covers the chief four shrines of the country. You can take the renowned Chardham that is taken by numerous citizens and tourists every year.
 
The tour is composed of four very prominent abodes of Gods and Goddesses. The starting point and its opposite dham are collectively taken to be a trip usually referred to as Yamunotri Gangotri. While the former is the abode of the goddess of Shakti Yamuna, the latter is the abode of the goddess of Shakti Ganga. The two spots derive their names from the famous two rivers- the river Ganges and the river Yamuna. The former is located along Uttarkashi. Most devotees try to visit this holy site during the later part of the summers or even during the opening of the autumn season.

The shrine is located as high as 3293 meters above sea level.

However, the latter of the Yamunotri Gangotri locations stands opposite to the former location at a considerable distance of approximately hundred kilometers. The shrine is the birthplace of the river Ganges as has been mentioned earlier. It stands at an altitude of 3200 meters above sea level and is visited by as many devotees as its counterpart dham. It is known for its famous Gaumukh glacier that is often one chief reason that attracts many casual tourists who visit the country as well.
Of course the other half of the yatra remains with the visit of two more shrines that are equally crowded with devotees. The Badrinath Kedarnath yatra further completes this entire holy tour. By taking such a trip what you ensure yourself, as is traditionally believed, salvation.
 
The lot of the old people of the country specially waits for the time when they can take such a trip and free themselves of all the wrongs that they might have committed to others in the past. The yatra to Yamunotri Gangotri and the other two spots thus is a way of attaining a method of redemption. This trip serves as the ultimate way of asking for forgiveness from the gods and goddesses for all the misgivings and sins that have been committed.

If you want to embark on such a journey as well so that you discover your spiritual side or to appeal for forgiveness from the almighty then you can easily do so by booking such a yatra with a suitable travel agency.

Question by : How is theater represented as spiritual in Hamlet?
I have been going over and over Hamlet and I cannot find a scene where the world of theater is represented as a spiritual world. Anybody have an idea of what part of the play this is found in?? If you can’t find the Act or scene, if you can just describe the part of the play in which it happens that would be very much appreciated!

Well, there’s only one part of the play where the theater is represented at all — the part where Hamlet hires the actors and tells them to present the play he has written (“The Mousetrap”), and then the actors do so while the King is in the audience, and then much consternation, and, of course, hijinks, ensue.

Remember the line “The play’s the thing in which we’ll catch the conscience of the King”? Could “conscience” be considered to be something spiritual? You take it from there.

Question by laylallu: Do you as Christians feel that you are casting your pearls before swine? Your spiritual thoughts please.?
Matthew 7: 6 “6Do not give that which is holy (the sacred thing) to the dogs, and do not throw your pearls before hogs, lest they trample upon them with their feet and turn and tear you in pieces.”
In Matthew 7:6 we are cautioned not to give dogs that which is holy nor to cast our pearls before swine. Dogs and pigs were ceremonially unclean animals in Jewish law. These are metaphors for preaching the word of God to those unwilling to listen. We can not argue a person into salvation, man is saved through faith in God by the grace of God. So when we preach to those unwilling to listen or try to force our faith upon another we are in error. When Jesus was preaching in his home land his neighbors did not treat him with honor and Jesus withheld those miracles (Matthew 13:58) that might have softened their hearts. Preaching to those who God has not given grace is a fruitless effort but since we do not know who God has elected we must offer the word of God to all and give it to those who desire it.

actually id prefer it that way.

why dont you christians keep your “pearls”. dont cast them out, avoid missionary trips to third world countries where you give them bibles instead of food. avoid standing on the street corner with a microphone blasting out idiocy and hatred. avoid picketing funerals and gay pride parades.

keep your “pearls” at home. stop trying to perpetuate your religion. leave it within your own families. DONT TRY AND SPREAD YOUR DISEA….uh ……RELIGION.

The Spiritual Power of an Anointed Name, your name will define your future

A name is what everyone is identified by since the ages of time. Does a name have any spiritual connotations to a beholder’s testimonies? Yes, it does. Your name will define your destiny and a good name is better than silver and gold. The best names are God given names. A New Name brings a new destiny, it can change your life for good.

The Power of the name of Jesus

Here, do you know what is the name of Jesus and why everyone must submit to him? The answer can be found in the book of Philippians 2:9,

“Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Jesus’ name is the highest name on the earth, and we are below him in all aspects, so there is no one who is higher than Jesus, Son of Joseph; the Nazareth born of Mary.

Also mentioned in the Book of Isaiah 9:6,

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

The only begotten Son of God was called Jesus and this name was given to Joseph by the Angels of God. Matthew 1:20,

“But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.

She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

Jesus’ name was given to Joseph by an angel in a dream so it is a God given name, an anointed name. That name carries the child’s anointing until it came to pass. He was able to do miracles and forgive sin as if he was God; because his name Jesus means Mighty God.

In modern times, people would have to hold titles like Dr, Rev, Pastor, and Apostle and so on; to make them be known as a certain category of men. But in the kingdom of God, a man’s name is his calling and anointing and when God bestowed a name from his own mouth that name will certainly prosper the man and bring him into his blessings which God has already placed on him by giving him the name. Every God given name has that power, because we have become true sons and daughters.

Jesus mentioned the power of God’s given name to him when he prayed for the people saying in John,

John 17:11(NIV), “I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name – the name you gave me – so that they may be one as we are one. While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me.

Therefore, the name of Jesus is God’s own name given to the begotten son and it contains true power in the name itself, at the mentioned of this name every being upon the entire universe, visible or invisible has to bow down and submit to Jesus with the exception of God himself. That is why the bible mentioned that it is better to have a good desirable name, since it has more benefits than gold and silver.

Proverbs 22:1, “A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.”

Ecclesiastes 7:1, “A good name is better than fine perfume, …….”

A Change of Name carries a Change of destiny

The law of double mentioned, states that when something is mentioned twice, repeated more than once, it has deep significance in the kingdom of God. When a person has his name changed, it will bring forth a new beginning. The old name carries the old past and a new name will manifest a new life. In our modern society, it is almost very hard to have a new life with our old name, since our name are recorded into the computer systems no matter how good we have changed the old past records are never changed so it always come up when we do a search. Thus to change our destiny, it must come with a new change of name. This can be seen in the lives of two prominent men even in Bible history. Once they had a name changed they had a new destiny much better than their old limited destiny, they bear more fruit and were more prosperous. However, when their name was changed, they also went through a process of sanctification to come into their destiny. So a name change is only the beginning and a process of change is yet to come.

The Story of Abraham

Genesis 17, ” When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said to him, As for me, this is my covenant with you: You will be a father of many nations. No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations.”

Abram means father of multitudes, and Abraham means father of nations.

Who then is the true father of all nations? It is God himself. And God did give Abram his name Abraham; Abraham was indeed God’s name since God is truly the father of all creations. Thus when God gave you his name, you will be anointed to bring forth his nature upon the earth, because we are made in his image and when he wants to do a certain thing on earth, he will always choose a man or a person to do this work. So Abraham means God of many nations is on earth working through this man whom he has chosen and bestowed a title upon him through the name. God calls things which are not as though they were is thus fulfilled in scripture.

Genesis 18:19, “For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just, so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him.”

The Story of Jacob

Genesis 28:12, “He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. There above it stood the Lord, and he said: “I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying. Your descendants will be like dust on the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. All peoples will be blessed through you and your offspring. I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”

Genesis 32:27, “The man asked him, “What is your name?” “Jacob” he answered. Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome.”

Jacob means schemer or sup-planter and Israel means Prince of Peace and also wrestles with God. But the angel gave him a New Name the name Israel, so that he will have peace with his brothers. Whenever there is change in structure, power or position, there is most certainly a change in name. The name will protect and enable you to accomplish your destiny. When God gives you a New Name, it will have a meaning which bears His Name, much like a surname which bears our natural fathers’ name.

Isaiah 56:5, “to them I will give within my temple and its walls a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an Everlasting Name that will not be cut off.”

Isaiah 43:7, “Everyone who is called by My Name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.”

Isaiah 63:19, “We are yours from of Old; but you have not ruled over them, they have not been called by your Name.”

Isaiah 62:2, “The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a New Name that the mouth of the Lord will bestow.”

It is again mentioned in Jeremiah Chapter 7:9- 14, 7:30 and Jeremiah 34:15 about the house that bears God’s name. Again God said in Chronicles,

2Chronicles 7:14, “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Your name will define your destiny. A change of Name will cause a change in destiny but this Name must be bestowed by God or his prophets or a true man of God. These appointed men will be able to bestow an appropriate name from the heart of the Father, our Lord God.

Do you know the meaning of your name and what destiny does it hold?

In the kingdom of God, the name represents the title and position and the blessings from God himself. God called himself “I am that I am” meaning he is whatever he wants to be, so I am that I am is very relevant to him. Although this sounds like no name at all, it literally represents what God is. God calls a person by the characteristics of that person which He wants him to be. The following are some bible verses that show what God means when he bestowed upon the man a New Name. When you believe in Jesus, you became God’s adopted sons and then it is only natural that God would give you a New Name, the name which bears His name. Such that whoever shall come against you, will also come against God himself since you bear his name. That is why he claims that whoever is your enemy will be his enemy since you have become his sons and daughters.

Exodus 23:22, “If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you.”

When God gives you a New Name, it always carries with it the innate power of creating that destiny which he intends for you to possess. And he will protect you since you bear his Name, so no one on earth can stand against you when you do his will in your life. Those who are acceptable and approved by God will be marked on their foreheads with His Name, a nature or characteristics of his image will be given unto those whom He approves.

Revelation 2:17, “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a New Name written on it, known only to him who receives it.”

Revelation 3:12, “Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my New Name.”

Revelation 14:1, “Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his father’s name written on their foreheads.”

Revelation 19:11 to 16, “On his robe and on his thigh he has this Name written: King of kings and Lord of lords.”

What is the meaning of the verse “they bear his name”?

Here are some Names which bear his name, and they are heroes of Old, the true sons and daughters of God.

Adam – Formed of Earth, in God’s Image.
Abel – Breath, life of God, education, wisdom
Cain – Spear, weapon, acquisition of material things
Enoch – Consecrated, dedicated to God
Seth –Appointed of God, chosen
Moses – drawn from the water, delivered
Joseph – God will add, wise and understanding , son of increase
Ephraim – fruitful, prosperous, El Shaddai
David – Beloved of God, lover of all
Samuel – God has heard, instructed of God
Daniel – God is my judge, perceptive
Elijah – The Lord is my God, spiritual champion
Jehu – God is, divine perspective
Jeremiah – God is exalted, seeker of truth
Isaiah – God is salvation, steadfast
Ishmael – God will hear, blessed
Nehemiah – God comforts, righteous
Hosea – deliverance, God of strength
John – God is gracious, strength of god
Timothy – honor to God, blessed of God
Alicia – means seeker of truth, child of truth, God is truth

These bible characters all lived up to the meaning of their Names which was given by their father or God himself. The patriarch’s of old were man ordained by God to carry the life line of his chosen people. The rights of first born sons remain which the choice of his father. Thus, the God chosen man can give Anointed Names to their sons and daughters, and God would honor them.

Now why is it that many people also have such a name but never lived to their name’s destiny?

The Name was not given by God but by someone else who is not anointed by God.
The Name was given by their natural fathers who have not submitted to God.
Only when the Name is given by God, his prophets or chosen men then will the Name have this power to excel, because it contains the blessings of God. Prophets are messengers of God so they can speak for God.

If you want to change your destiny, asked God to give you a New Name. It’s the Name which will define your future and change your life. God given names are Anointed Names that will fulfill its destiny given by that name. Anyone who does not have a New Name after coming to the Lord can ask for a New Name. That was the original purpose of baptism to give someone a New Name and a new life. The Name changes to reflect the new life or new anointing.

Anyone who wants to change his life can also ask God for a new life and a New Name to go with this new beginning. During Baptism, usually a person is given a New Name. But some are not and some of the priests are not given this authority to give a person a new name. Pray for a new beginning and a new anointing with the New Name…………… a spiritual shift in your life towards a higher calling.

Spiritual Research on the Spiritual Life of Bill Gates

Introduction

In an age where the super rich invest their wealth in various interests such as football teams, vintage aircrafts etc., Bill Gates stands apart. He has not only pledged a large percentage of his wealth to charity, but has also stated that after July 2008, he will be devoting all his time to charity work.

There are very few people who are able to walk away from their wealth and also devote their time to help society. It is for this reason the Spiritual Science Research Foundation proceeded to find out through spiritual research, the contributing factors behind this noble act and to find out the spiritual factors that contributed to Bill Gates taking this life path.

Information about some relevant past lives of Bill Gates

Bill Gates has had a rich spiritual background in his past lives. He is a seeker of God following the Spiritual ‘Path of Action’ (Karmayoga) which is inherently about practicing Spirituality according to the principle ‘As one sows, so shall one reap’. The knowledge received also revealed that his faith and his efforts undertaken on this path to God, has made him a philosopher with thought-leadership on the Path of Action.

Through spiritual practice he has acquired a place in the subtle highly evolved plane of existence, the Mahaloka (a region which is more subtle and spiritually progressive than Heaven).

He has done spiritual practice for 20,000 years in the subtle plane of existence called Heaven and for 3000 years in the subtle plane of existence called Mahaloka. This amounts to a total of over 180 million years of effective spiritual practice in Earth years before being born as Bill Gates in this lifetime.

What is the purpose of Bill Gates’ birth on Earth?

Bill Gates due to his ample spiritual practice in previous births has already transcended (gone beyond) the attachment to happiness one enjoys in Heaven and has attained Mahaloka, and has taken birth on Earth to ascend (progress) from actual actions of sacrifice to complete renunciation.

By virtue of his merits and spiritual level from previous lives, Bill Gates is destined to lead a life of fame and fortune and hence he has been able to earn so much wealth. As a seeker his spiritual practice is that of offering his wealth for the benefit of others in order to experience renunciation.

As Bill Gates does not have any craving or attachment to wealth, he now has the privilege to experience first hand, the Bliss of giving away wealth and of the resultant renunciation.

Future of Bill Gates’ spiritual practice

The wealth acquired by Bill Gates is a result of his pure thoughts and unshakeable faith in the Path of Action.

Giving away his accumulated wealth helps do away the sense of achievement associated with it. Thus he will ascend from the level of sacrifice (giving away), where there is a sense of achievement of wealth, to that of renunciation where even this sense of achievement is overcome. This is his goal. Thus he is close to achieving his objective and is now moving towards renunciation.

Summary:

We often look at our lives from a very myopic viewpoint i.e. we are born, we live and then we die and there is nothing before or after that. However, according to Spiritual science, our life is but a part of a continuum of many lives from our first birth till we finally realise God or until our dissolution. In other words, we all come from God and finally have to go back to God. Every time we are born on Earth, it is an opportunity to make spiritual progress so as to move closer to our final goal i.e. becoming one with God. From the standpoint of spiritual growth, the opportunity to be born on Earth, if used well, can result in our rapid spiritual growth.

By donating the acquired wealth, one is liberated even from the thoughts of achievement and one makes progress faster. Bill Gates is an excellent example of this. He is an example of a great evolving soul.
