How do I make my yahoo 360 profile my main profile, so that when people click to view my profile it will be the 360 one and not the plain jane one? Help!

The feature works fine in Y/A for you. I can see your 360.

However, the same will not be the case via other Yahoo services. Please see my answer regarding this issue here:

Hi there…after you have gone into your profile to edit it, if you have already begun a Yahoo! 360 account you can activate it by selecting the box in the “Sharing” section:
Yahoo! 360 Settings
| | Show link to my Yahoo! 360 page

To get your Yahoo! 360 photo to appear as your avatar in Yahoo! Answers go to http://360.yahoo.com Upload a picture(JPEG format) maximum 3 pictures into your personal profile in yahoo!360. Select one photo as the primary photo then go to My Q&A page and edit your Info and select the yahoo!360 picture.

Here’s the steps:
-on the My Q&A page, click on the [Edit My Info]
-on the PICTURE section, click on the [Get my Yahoo!360 account now]
-yahoo!360 home page will appear, on the right side, click on [Get Started]
-confirm your identity and click [Continue]
-Click [Start My Page]
-Create a nick name and click on the [Continue]
-select anyone or simply click on the [Continue] to skip
-Enter any information you want or simply cliick on the [Finish] to skip
-Now your yahoo!360 page is created and you can see your name on the left. Click on the [Edit Personal Photos]
-click on the [Browse...]
-Choose the picture in your computer you want to upload.Take note: Only JPEG picture
-make sure the directories is appeared on the context box before you click on the [Save] at the bottom
-It will take little while to upload your picture. Just wait.
-Your yahoo!360 page will appear again, click on the [Edit Personal Photos]
-you will see your uploaded picture, click on the [O Set as Primary]
-At the bottom right, click on the [Save]

Now it is done on Yahoo!360. You have to activate your Yahoo!360 as your picture in your personal profile in Yahoo! Answers. The steps below is similiar as to activate your avatar picture

-go to Yahoo!Answer page
-click on your name
-you will come to My Q&A page
-click on the [Edit My Info], located near to the little blue box
-on the PICTURE section,you should able to see your uploaded picture
-select [Use my yahoo!360 picture]
-At the bottom of the page click on the [Preview]
-At the bottom of the preview page, click on the [OK]
-It is done. Congrad!

I have tried every darn setting there is and can’t get back t my old fashioned profile. I hate 360 and want to have my old profile page back. Yahoo Help has been totally useless (go figure). Can some one out there PLEEEEEEEZE help me?

I always see people’s blog being featured on the sign in page of yahoo 360. I want to share my experiences with ghosts with all of those in 360 who may be interested. However, it is slow going, inviting one person at a time. A feature on the sign in page, would do wonders for my ability to share my stories with others….

Can anyone help me promote my 360 page faster and better?

from what i can see yahoo 360 just pick random users. i think you have to be lucky to get selected.

you can add your 360 link to your yahoo answer profile page if you havnt already done so and that way other users can visit your page.

I have checked all the albums public in 360 and in yahoo photo. Am I missing something here. I looked at some of the answers and to no avail there was not a proper answer and no step by step answer. Some say did you save uuuuhhh yes! Some say you have to put public in Yahoo….Well I’m in yahoo! If you give precise answers to the users then we might be able to understand if we have the step by step instructions. This is just ridiculous there’s really no sense in having this yahoo 360 if it’s going to be a pain in the dairyaire. Yahoo needs to have customer care live chat for helping people immediately!

l am new at this also. Where you have your photos done in a album, there should be a place in there to set to share. And once you click that, go to your 360 click on the place where the album goes and your album should be there and set as primary

Click on my profile, at upper right of page. And then click on edit my info. It will be by your avatar. Then scroll down and check “Show link to my Yahoo! 360 page “
