To start, you can go for people search engines like Friendster and Facebook. These websites have millions of user accounts that you can scan and search. You will just type the name or the email of your friend and in just a few seconds you will be provided with several search results.

However, you will be given with only one result if you used an email address due to its uniqueness in every person. In here, you will be able to know more about a person, like his name, gender, location, hobbies and even his likes and dislikes! You can also see his uploaded pictures in his profile.

Using people search engine is also a good starting point to begin your people search. Sites like Zaba Search and Le People Finder would deliver good results. Just like in social networking sites such as Multiply and Plurk, you will just type the person’s name. However, there are reverse search engines, which can provide information by just using the phone number, email address or social security number. Even if they would only deliver basic and limited information, they can still provide you about a person’s age, gender, location and even his zip code, which is dependent on to where he lives.

But, if those things that I had mentioned earlier will not work, using the services that are provided by companies that offer background check is the best thing that I can advise you.

It would be an excellent move if you would invest on this service, especially that this would provide you with complete, powerful and reliable information about a person. It will not only deliver you with basic informations like the mailing address or phone number, but even mailing address histories, phone number histories and criminal records! Amazing, isn’t it?
