MTV should create a new reality show channel (RTV) and have more music videos and concert footage on the main channel.

Question by raybwf: Why are there almost no minorities on the MTV show The Hills?
This is a semi-reality show that is based mostly in Hollywood, CA – probably one of the most diverse cities in the world. How is it that they manage to keep an almost all white cast? I was born and raised in LA and it is almost impossible to keep all friends of the same race. C’mon MTV, you can get a little bit more real than that.

Realistically, those who are on the higher end of society are most likely not minorities so I wouldn’t expect to see any on The Hills.

For the assh*ole who can’t accept the truth. Even though LA is diverse do you expect to see more Caucasians or Minorities on Rodeo Drive ? Hollywood is in Los Angeles so you can expect to see A-List celebrities. The only minorities you would probably see are the famous ones. Ex: Jamie Foxx, Usher, Will Smith etc.

I’m a minority and even I can accept this. I’m not putting down Minorities; I’m not saying that they are inferior. I’m just realistically stating that Minorities aren’t among the high class. There are Minorities who are well off with six figures but the majority aren’t. Get it ?
