Q&A: Winter/indoor sports for a 15 year old guy?

Written by The Oracle. Posted in Winter Sports

Question by : Winter/indoor sports for a 15 year old guy?
I am currently a cross country runner BUT the season is ending in november so I won’t have anything to do in the winter (I usually ride my bmx bike in the summer, but the snow is restricting that) I want to do more than just train in the winter. I want a sport that I can just start training for during CC season so that when the sport starts I won’t suck miserably. Thanks :D

Answer by Aramis
well, if you’re good at cc and have a lot of leg strength and stamina, i’d say go for basketball or, if they offer it, winter track. basketball does take a bit of coordination, but its constant motion, which you are used to. and winter track is self explanatory
